Our challenge this past week was to choose a musical theme for our team. We chose to scrap layouts using lyrics from songs with the word "Amazing" in the title. I used "Amazing" by Aerosmith. This page showcases the moment we saw our daughter come off the plane from Korea. It was truly "Amazing". Click for full credits.

OK, so I have been away on holiday, andthe ever so wonderful Randi said I could play with her kits while I was away and then catch up on all my posts when I got back... Isn't she sweet? So here is one page, one of my favourites so far. I know it's in a cemetary, but I've always found them quiet, contemplative places and this one was especially so. It is the beautiful Melrose Abbey in the Scottish Border, a Catholic church that was destroyed during the Reformation. I had such a peaceful moment of clarity and understanding about the word, that I just had to scrap it, and what better kit than Zen and Now?

Randi's new kit, Jake, at Scrapbook-Bytes came out at the perfect time for me! I had just been telling my SIL (who's a new mommy) that I took a monthly photo of my babies on their "birthday" each month along with a teddy bear to show how they'd grown. I'd never gotten around to scrapping them and Jake was perfect to show off my DS (who's now 6).

LOL, I still need to scrap months 10 -12, so I'll come back and add that one in later.

As my husband and I approach our 7th wedding anniversary, I find myself falling in love with him all over again!

And speaking of...I have found a whole new love for Randi's "Free FALLing"! I used it here in my romantic page of Jake and I kissing.

So...I think the word is officially out now that Randi has a new store opening up at AnnTheGran!! Oh my!! You are going to LOVE the new stuff!!! I certainly do!! Really, she has out done herself...all of the designs sold exclusively at ATG are just FABULOUS! I have only have the pleasure of playing with one of the kits so far, Shades of Blue, but let me tell you...it's gotta be one of my all time favorites!
